Russia Part 1

Of course I had to pose in front of the statue of Catherine The Great. Actually Catherine II, she reigned from 1762 until 1796 after overthrowing her husband, Grand Duke Peter, grandson of Peter the Great. During her reign she extended the Russian empire to include the Crimea, Belarus, Lithuania and parts of Poland.
